The interior of this free standing French inspired guest house was a request of the client after a visit to France. The modern French inspired kitchenette includes shaker style cabinets set off by the Seville Bianco Artistic Tile backsplash. The optical geometric shapes of this backsplash build outwards from the complete central shape, in concentric bands, blending stone and glass and providing the illusion of great depth and multiple layers. Octagons, squares and circular shapes are predominantly in polished Bianco Carrara marble, cool white accented with grey veining. Fabric of a similar pattern was used on the kitchen barstools as a way to continue this motif throughout the space visually.
