"Treat For A New Mother And Daughter"

See Article

"When the doctor who delivered Meredith Owen's own daughter called to tell her she was expecting and would like Meredith to design a nursery, Meredith was thrilled. As she was about to be a first time mother, she decided that she didn't want to find out the gender of the baby until she gave birth. This presented a "designers challenge." Meredith approched this challenge by designing two concepts, one for a boy and one for a girl. They then devised a plan to have the nursery installed the day she went into the hospital to deliver. Once her doctor called to say she was having a girl, Meredith went straight to work. The girl's nursery was carefully painted by In Your Space Collaborative Arts. The round crib fit perfectly in the room since there was limited space. Mereidth designed the baby bedding wihtout the use of bumpers and instead had it custom-designed. Along with a new chandelier, drapery and adorable baby accessories, this room came together, literally, overnight."
